The MOAI brand takes inspiration from the Polynesian culture, in which supping was invented. The name MOAI comes from the famous monolithic human statues made by the inhabitants of Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island.

This island was discovered and inhabited by Polynesian adventurers and explorers, who sailed thousands of kilometres across the Pacific Ocean in their canoes's.

MOAI SUP boards honour these amazing adventurers, who had a strong love for the water and allowed themselves to be navigated only by the sun, clouds, moon, stars and wave current.
