This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from Watersports4fun.com.

Personal information we collect

Your rights

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to restrict the processing of the data we process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is approved, we will send confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to data portability

You always have the right to have the data we process that relates to you or can be traced back to you transferred to another party. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.

If your request is approved, we will send copies of all data about you that we have processed, or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to the email address known to us. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing our services in such a case, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.

Right of access

You always have the right to access the data we process that relates to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.

If your request is approved, we will send you a copy of all data, together with an overview of the processors that hold this data, stating the category under which we have stored this data, to the email address known to us.

Right to rectification

You always have the right to have the data we process that relates to you or can be traced back to you amended. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days.

If your request is approved, we will send confirmation to the email address known to us that the data has been amended.

Right to object and other rights

In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Watersports4fun. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the handling of your objection.

If your objection is justified, we will provide you with copies of the data we process and then permanently stop processing it.

You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe that this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.

Right to erasure

You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data, insofar as we no longer need this data for the purpose for which it was collected or processed, and insofar as we are not legally required to retain this data.

Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe that we do not handle your personal data carefully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We also note that, if you are a resident of the European Economic Area, we process your information to fulfil contracts we may have with you, for example when you place an order through the site, or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests as described above.

Please note that your information may be transferred outside Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data retention

When you place an order through the site, we retain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information, insofar as we are not legally required to retain this data for longer.

Reviews

We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name, place of residence, and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name and place of residence on its own website.

In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to request an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this data solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review.

WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties for the provision of its services. We have granted WebwinkelKeur permission for this. All safeguards mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
